Good food and wine are two of life's richer pleasures. Throughout your stay our talented cook, who is an experienced and creative artist, will produce modern and traditional cuisine to tantalize your taste buds. The cook will frequently take account of your likes and expectations, rarely sticking to a fixed menu plan.
Toddlers and younger children are not left out. Combined with a little magic and some help from the mums, the cook will plan special menus, ensuring the little ones also enjoy wonderful food during their luxury ski holiday and at a time best suited to them.
As ever, it is up to you to set the pace and dining can be as formal or relaxed as you wish. A typical day in Chalet Auriane starts off with morning tea served in bed, followed by a hearty breakfast. While you are out skiing, a sumptuous afternoon tea is prepared and laid out for your return. In the evening, relax with some pre-dinner champagne and canapés before sitting down to a 4 course meal. After dinner, enjoy coffee and chocolates in front of the roaring log fire, discussing the highlights of the day.
The evening meals are complemented by a selection of delicious white and red wines. You also have the option of purchasing even higher quality wines from our extensive à la carte list. The collection is predominantly focused on French classified wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy and Languedoc, but internationally recognised local wines have also been stored in the perfect cellaring conditions.
